The Three Loves of Malentine Gherr

from The Aftership Party by Captain Vulpine!

lyrics

Well the other day I was walking down the street
I saw a pretty young girl
She was just the prettiest thing
Her hair in little curls

So I walked right up to her
Said “how’d you like to see a show?”
She said “sorry mister, you’re rather off so no.”

So I chopped off her head and threw it in a bag,
Now it’s hanging on my wall oh gee!
And that’s why you never be mean to strangers
Don’t be mean to me!

The very next day down the very next street
An even prettier lady
I wonder if she’d go out with me
Well could be, maybe?

So I walked right up to her
Said “I’ve got something to show you”
She said “Mister get away from me,
I don’t even know you”

So I grabbed her by the throat and dragged her down
Then I nailed her to my basement wall
And that’s why you never be mean to strangers
Don’t be mean at all!

Well the very last time down the very same street
A quaint brunette surprise
She was as pretty as the devil in drag
A glimmer in her eyes

So I walked right up to her
I said “you wear that skin so pure”
“Couldn’t do better myself” I said
But I thought I had better make sure.

So I took her back to my place and you can guess the rest
Now I sing to these girls all day
A little ditty I wrote for them
And their lovely skin of grey

“Maybe rabies, they’ll eat you
Maybe scabies, they’ll come too
Maybe baby, I will make you love me.
It’s funny honey, how you scare
My little bunny, in my lair
Maybe baby, I will make you love me”
