This Way to the Neon Boneyard!

lyrics

Born under the wrong kind of moon
Sentenced before his first noon
A dead radio's only tune, what a maroon
What style, a face even mothers revile
Brain filled up wholly with bile
He's gonna be here a while

I started off young I saw the world strangely
I ate fellow children they thought me deranged
But I tasted their auras, they tasted like noise
Their souls were empty and fuel for the void

I played the part, I suffered and fought
They chewed on my feelings and left me to rot
But I decompose in the strangest way
Despite my best efforts I wake up every day

Born under the wrong kind of moon
Sentenced before his first noon
A dead radio's only tune, what a maroon

What style, a face even mothers revile
Brain filled up wholly with bile
He's gonna be here a while

When I got older I learned to compose
But still decompose mostly in prose
Slowly I learned if there's something you yearn for
Give it your all and it's still gonna burn

Nothing ever meant anything
Just give it a go
Just give her the ring
You'll be somebody's everything till you're not, so practice your grieving.
